Chain mail

You can find armor made of chain mail  in many cultures and different patterns. I addition to geographics, economy played a role in deciding wich pattern the chain mail should be made of.

The metal in the warriors armor was made of iron, and each ring was a bit larger, but todays patterns stay the same.
